做個好記者不容易

雖然青奧會的歷史很短，之前隻在新加坡舉辦過一次，但作為東道主的中國還是很重視這次活動。中央電視台組織了青奧小記者團，我有幸成為其中的一員。七月末的一天，朱老師帶我們參觀了央視大樓，並給我們講解了前幾批小記者的採訪活動及其表現。

我在小學的時候參觀過BBC的大樓，BBC大樓的佔地面積和這裡不相上下,但明顯沒有中央電視台的大樓有氣派。中央電視台這座樓可以稱之為北京的地標性建筑，它的造型獨特，又是重點新聞單位的辦公樓，不免吸引了諸多評點與圍觀。踏入大樓，沒走幾步就看到了許多電梯，旁邊的朱老師開玩笑說：“由於大樓造型獨特，上下樓極為不方便，坐錯電梯就會從一個褲腿跑到另一個褲腿，像玩密室逃脫一樣。”

到了青奧會的辦公室后，我觀看了前幾批小記者的採訪短片，發現從事新聞採訪真的很辛苦。他們遭遇過採訪對象拒絕採訪的情形，更有甚者有的採訪對象直接離場，他們還遭遇過視頻拍攝得不清楚等種種問題，不過他們每次都有解決方法，讓老師和同學刮目相看。不過，令我印象最深刻的是：看到工作人員一遍又一遍地剪輯視頻，然后審查時再提出問題，再去編輯。小學時在BBC有當主播讀稿子的經歷，已經覺得對著提示器一字不落地把稿子讀好很具挑戰性，沒想到那只是冰山一角。我不禁感慨：電視上出鏡的人光鮮靚麗,原來是經過無數人的努力換來的。

The Youth Olympic Games has a rather brief history. The first Game was held in Singapore, and this time, China is holding for the second Game. CCTV started a reporting program for us teenagers to interview the athletes at our same age, I am lucky enough to be a member of it.

Before the program started, I had a tour of their building. CCTV’s headquarter is Beijing’s landmark for its unique designs. When I was younger, I went to the BBC’s headquarter in London, it was as big, but not as cool. Elevators are one of the unavoidable elements of the building. Due to the fact that it’s crooked, it’s very inconvenient to go up and down, you have to take different elevators every once in a while.

Finally, after numerous elevator rides, we reached the office. After watching the trial interviews of other reporters, I’ve found that it is really hard to be a reporter. Those reporters are at our own age, some of them got rejected, and sometimes athletes would leavethe stadium before they could finish the interview. They’ve ran into all sorts of unexpected situations, but they were able to deal with those, for someone my age, it’s quite impressive.

I’ve had the experience of being a news anchor back in primary school, staring at the teleprompter and read those words clearly and fluently was not easy. I’ve never thought the directors and the editors have much more difficult jobs. They have to watch whatthey’ve filmed over and over, then the directors would give suggestions and the editors have to change it accordingly. As it turns out, the glamour we see on screen takes tons of hard work of all kinds of people. Being a grown-up with a job is not easy at all.
